I'm off!

I'm off to see the Wizard...the wonderful Wizard of Oz...

Not exactly. I'm off to see my parents tomorrow! Yippee!! This blog will be posted on even MORE infrequently--unless of course, I'm bored, and there's a fast internet connection, and an available computer, and I'm properly motivated...

So, no, you probably won't see anything here for about 2 weeks or so.

My wonderful sister and bro-in-law will be checking in on our place and watering the lawn etc. I don't know what I'd do without them living around here sometimes!

We're off to Wisconsin to visit family and friends. John'll be working on his dissertation the whole time and meeting with his profs. Technically, he's not on vacation and will be slaving away. The kids and I will be having fun. Poor John. All work and no play. However, that is the reason we can afford to go. His work is paying the way, my parents are putting us up. Nice. John is trying to get this done by next May. I really don't know what life will be like post dissertation! He's been working on it for most of our marriage. We just won't know what to do with ourselves!
I'm sure something will come up. Life's full of surprises.
